I fell off a curb this week. Sprained my ankle and went down hard in the street, in front of a car, while walking my dog. It hurt like crazy. My dog did not care even a little. When six kind strangers stopped to help me, she abandoned me completely and went looking for treats and pets.
Here's the point. We fall, we stumble, we get hurt. What makes us different is that we get back up. I got up. A kind doctor happened to be right there, my husband came and got me home, and my dog still did not care. Some days you'll feel like you're doing it alone. Get back up anyway. I'm proud of you.
